Animal Experimentation to end at Ridglan Farms

Ridglan Farms, the controversial Wisconsin facility that bred beagles for laboratory experiments, is reportedly shutting down.

After years of investigations, protests, rescue efforts, and public pressure, the remaining dogs may finally have the chance to experience freedom and loving homes for the first time in their lives.

“What changed was the courage, persistence, and compassion you showed the world on April 18. You brought light to a dark and violent place, and the cruelty could no longer hide.

“This has been a 10+ year struggle. Every hour, every arrest, every sacrifice has been worth it… They won’t die on a vivisector’s table. They’ll grow old with their families.

“So many said it could never happen. We proved them wrong,” stated animal rights attorney and Direct Action Everywhere - DxE co-founder Wayne Hsiung.
